Initially focusing on Damien Hirst’s 2012 retrospective in London, Moonshine and the Artcaste team set out to take the Spot Challenge. A journey to seven countries and eight cities including New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Geneva, Rome, Athen’s and Los Angeles in less than two weeks culminated in an adventure rewarded by five Damien Hirst spot prints and a wealth of first hand accounts, interviews and stunning imagery. Motivated by this incredible insight into the world of contemporary art Spotless soon became a journey to understand the very essence of what art meant to those who made it, collected it and profited from it.
